Mission Statement

(Personal Version) 

I (your name), a member of the Madera United Methodist Church (in the Wesleyan tradition), exist to acknowledge, kindle, and nurture God's spirit in myself as Christ's disciples; that I reflect God's grace, love, acceptance, and forgiveness, through worship, service, fellowship, study, and prayer.

 

I exist in order to serve. My purpose is to offer an opportunity for persons to hear the Good News, accept the invitation to Christian discipleship, to grow spiritually, and to reach out into the world in service.
